assignment 1: create an intern welcome presentation

artwork created by: raaya chakrabarti

I spent the summer as an account management intern on the arby’s account at fallon.

i worked on 8 different campaigns, two of which i was given the lead on.

I worked with radio, tv, and social media spots, and worked with arby’s website developers. I was also on set for two product video shoots for commercials.

sending operations requests

I learned how to submit operations requests to the production team at Fallon to kick off projects and have the scope approved.

submitting team requests

I submitted many requests to the creative and studio teams for each project that was added by the clients. Each team was determined by the briefs provided.

client communication

i was in constant communication with the arby’s clients on email and phone for creative reviews, check-in meetings, and final approval on projects.

creative reviews with clients

i learned how to lead meetings with clients, and observed how the other account managers managed creative reviews to move forward on projects.

sending final spots

i was tasked with obtaining isci codes and job numbers for each piece of work that was created by our team. these would ultimately be sent to various companies for final distribution.

moving on the fly

the most valuable skill i learned this summer was how to move on the fly. many things outside of our control would happen, and i had to learn how to best navigate these scenarios to keep the projects and teams moving forward.

Some of the skills I learned include:
